Here’s all you need to know and expect, as Feel Unique transitions into Sephora.
That’s right, you’ve read it right. The rumours are true and no, I am not talking about Lizzo’s song. The beauty retailer Sephora is coming to the UK with the most iconic glow up makeover, are you ready? LookFantastic, BeautyBay , Cult Beauty watch out, here she comes!
In 2021 the beauty retailer signed an agreement with Palamon Capital Partners and other shareholders to acquire Feelunique. Sephora bought online beauty retailer Feel Unique for a the generous sum of £132 million.
Feel Unique’s co-founder Aaron Chatterley confirmed in a LinkedIn post that following the takeover he has now exited the company, leaving it in “incredible hands of Sephora”. The chain currently has more than 2,700 worldwide across 35 countries and I am so happy we are finally joining them!
According to Sephora, the United Kingdom is one of the top 10 biggest prestige beauty markets worldwide, with a very high level of digital adoption.
“UK consumers have a strong appetite for a carefully curated Prestige Beauty offer that is tailored to their needs, and provided through a consumer-centric, seamless experience,” adds Martin Brok.
Here’s all we know so far.
When is Sephora coming to the UK? The Feel Unique online shop is set to change to sephora.co.uk and is bound to launch online on October 17 teamed with the Sephora App. And That’s not all a real-life shop is predicted to arrive in the Spring of 2023.
What will happen with the rewards?The Rewards system will also be switching to Sephora Rewards! That’s right, you know that feeling you get when you watch your favourite US youtubers talk about the amazing rewards, well Santa may have heard you!
What brands are coming or staying?Sephora will be bringing some new, exclusive brands with them. From their very own Sephora Collection to Tarte, ILIA Beauty. Indie Beauty brands from Makeup by Mario and ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr are also to be expected and that’s not all the beauty retailer Sephora have teased some thrilling news – they will be bringing some new and exclusive brands to the UK market as well!
